We are looking at purchasing a new home. Most of the homes come with a single oven/range top combination. I know that those homes with a built in oven and a microwave already built in above can all be removed and insert a double oven. What if this does not exist? Are there any limits to where a double oven can be installed? Does it need to be enclosed on both sides? Can I just remove some cabnets, insert the oven, and then board up the sides?
