Spring is here in the DC area and the miscreants around my house are starting to get restless. Problem is the county only lets me put up a 4' fence (which I've already done).
I would like to plant some hedges along the front property line that will grow tall and fast. Any idea what kind I should buy? The faster growing and taller the better

i would recommend privet. Grows fast and takes to pruning....
