I have a Harmony 2 walk behind Lawnmower with a 3 speed transmission. I saw that the tranny was leaking, so I attempted to take it apart and hopefully be able to reseal it with a new gasket. So far Ive taken all the screws off, and popped it open but only half way. I cant get the whole cover to come off because the medal thing that holds the spring seems to be really stuck in their and is holding the transmission cover from moving. How do I remove the Cover with out damaging anything? Thanks.

I don't think I've ever opened one of those trannies and I don't have one here at the shop to look at right now. Maybe someone else here can help you. Check back often for new replies.
