I replaced the laminate flooring in my basement after som flooding and have come into a slight problem. I was not that precise in cutting the planks and have some areas where the standard 3/4" quarter round will not do. There is a base molding already attached. Is it possible to find quarter round molding that is 1.5" wide? I have not been able to find it. Does anyone have any ideas about what molding I can use that will hide the gaps between the flooring and the walls? Thank you for your help.

What's it called? Stacking molding? Compositing molding? Basically you uses multile peices of wood and molding and built it up. If you go the molding section of the home improvement store and play with some scraps or something you may get an idea. Not sure if it would give you the look you want but it's a thought. Perhaps some 1 by and shoe molding, maybe some of the concave stuff too.

It would have been easier to cut it correctly the first time.

Dang!! 1½" off. Wow. I'd cut a little pice of laminte and modify the groove side and glue it in, unless the cut edge is all chipped.
