I have an old NAPCO CCI-5 ALARM (20YRS,1 big circuit). At this point I have everything hardwired using magnetic contacts and 3 tri-grard audio detectors or round glass senors (bug senors-?) plus tape on some windows. The question is do I have to change everything if I go to the Concord 4 alarm.I will be adding new and changing stuff in future but just want to get alarm working first. It will be good to have big circuit broken up to find problems.

A lot depends on how the wiring was ran in the place. Hopefully, they were all run as home runs, this will make reconfiguring them easier. All of the door and window contacts, and the impact sensors are all universal devices. They work on pretty much any alarm system. As long as the powered devices are 12volt devices, they will work as well.

you may need to change resistors on the circuits but every thing should work just fine
