Hello in 1999 we had a alarm installed in our house all hard wired system works great so far but I would like to upgrade the keypad to a nicer lookind with backlight 6150 ? 6160 not sure ? what will work with my system also I know nothing about programing so I am hoping that I just uplug 4 plug on back of keypad and plug new one in ? nit sure if that is possible anyways any info on keypads that will work thanks joe

I would get the 6160. It's easy to read and you can program with it if needed.

You should just be able to swap them out. If you have a plugin connector on your current keypad, you will probably have to cut it off and screw in the individual wires to the 6160. Not very hard.

I forgot to metion the current keypad that I am using is 6128 do you think the 6160 would still work ? board is 4110XMP thanks

6150 and 6160 will not work with a 4110

Actually, according to Honeywell/Ademco, for a 4110xmp, the 6150 is compatible, but the 6160 is not.
