Hello Y'all, I was wondering, what kind of wiring I need for installing the Siren into the Power 832 Panel box? Can I use the wiring I used for the Zones which is a 4 wire set-up. Due I need 14-2 wires? Sorry for being ignorant. I also would like to ask what kind of wire I need for the ground coming out of the 832 panel box.

TIA

22ga phone wire could be used for the siren (up to 500ft)

20 ga wire for a/c transformer related up to 50 ft.

Thanks for your help. Where should I put the Siren? Outside? Are they generally water proof or weather resistant? (Too Cold)?

TIA

Most sirens go inside the home. Either in a hallway, garage, basement, etc. They do make outdoor sirens, but your neighbors will not like you if you get false alarms.
