I would like to install alarms in a house I will build. Where can you get information on how to do this. My skills are more mechanical than electrical. I am not an electronic person. With instructions I feel I could do the job. Can anyone help with this. Thanks

Sites like this are as close as you get, really. Most of it is basic DC circuit wiring. The programming is the hardest part, and every brand line is a little different. You have to _read_ the manuals, but don't over-analyze.

MrRon Do you know of a good system that is simple to understand, that will work and not break down. There seems to be a lot of different systems out there. What would you recomend. Thanks Jerome
