I have a brick facade house and am mounting 1 camera
right now on the front. I'm having a hard time determining
where to mount. The easiest seems to be through the light
enclosure on the house, where I can easily run wires, but
then the cam would be within reach and fairly noticeable.
I'd like to put it up higher by the eaves and gutter, but I'm
not sure how to get wires through the soffit, etc. Any advice?

You don't want to pass the camera power and video wires through the same hole/enclosure that 110vac is passing through. The interference will be an issue, and it's against basic electric codes (High and low voltage shouldn't share space).

Depending on how your soffit and attic space are made, it can be easy or very difficult. The trick I use for getting wires though a soffet is to drill a hole to pass my cable, and push a stiff fish tape up so that it follows the underside of the roof sheathing until it is in easy reach in the attic (it's a two person job). I usually drill the hole to the size of the weathertight flex conduit, and push the end of the conduit into the hole for a few inches, then caulk around it.
