How should the siren be connected to the panel to achieve this:
Siren only sounds when alarm is triggered and does not sound with touchpad alarm statuses.
I read the below post. The post provides a means to accomplish this through programming, but is this the only way or can the same be accomplished through the connections at the panel?

I've now set the interior siren on output 2 at the panel and have the configuration code set to 00414.
Now my question is, how do I shorten the duration of time it takes for output 2 to sound the interior siren?
Refering to the 'System Event Trigger Numbers' I want to use 004, but have changed the remaining 2 numbers from 14 to 04 to see if that would do the trick, which it didn't. Are the last two numbers the duration of time in seconds that the trigger waits before output 2 is activated? I thought this may be so, but it does not appear that way. What do the last two numbers represent and where can I find a reference table in the installation manual?
What I am trying to achieve is to have the interior siren activate immediately when a window/door sensor is triggered during an "ARMED STAY". Right now it waits about 30 seconds (haven't timed it) before sounding the interior siren.
Thanks!

You are almost on the right track...Yes, you have to go into programming to change this like you previously did. However, the last 2 digits can only be deciphered by looking in the install manual at a configuration table. Basically the last 2 numbers have to do with a series of possibilites. Should the output have siren tracking? Should the output delay for 30 seconds before becoming active? And finally, how long should the output stay active for...a momentary trip (4 seconds, but adjustable), for the duration of the siren time (4 minutes, adjustable), for 3 minutes, or till the system is disarmed?
The first 3 digits of your number is the trigger event for the output. The last 2 numbers as just described.
In the Concord 4 Install manual, start on page 93 (starts the trigger events). Page 97-98 list the 2 digit response numbers. Long story short, I think you want to program the output with something like this 00410.
This will give you alarms for any audible alarm with siren tracking, no trip delay, and the siren will sound for the siren time (4 minutes) if no one is there to disarm.

Thanks! Worked perfect.
I also found the table in the manual. I looked for it before posting and trying to find out what the last two numbe were, but somehow missed it. In my manual it's on page 99. Thanks again for the info!
