Help, I need a new gas cooker with grill, I need it to be LPG, this of course can be achieved on various models with conversion kit, my main problem is that I do have to have flame out facility - I can't find this on any models. I live afloat, all the marine cookers I can find are very expensive and not really that great . Does anyone know if I can convert to flame out - or any suggestions, I live in England - Thanks

Hello: JDDJ
Marine appliances are especially designed and safety equipped for the intended purpose. I cannot suggest nor can I or do I recommend any conversion that may not meet the marine codes.
Conversion may be possible. Inquire at a local marine appliance dealer and or repair shop. Your safety is at stake.

Thanks for advice, safety is obviously our first concern which is why we do need flame out, we also have gas alarms fitted.
Is there any recommendation for marine cookers, all the ones we have used, or friends have are not really that great. The one we have cooks only really at the top and the grill is very very slow. This is a top of the range model.

Hello: JDDJ
I do not exactly know what you mean by "marine cookers" or "gas cookers."
What is a "Cooker?"
Are you referring to cooking stoves/ranges?
The top burners on a range/stove?
A non conventional range/stove?
BBQ? or Smoker? ????
Kindly clarify in detail. Intent is to be sure I know exactly what you mean by cooker and exactly what type of any appliance that is specifically.
All gas appliances, especially stoves/ranges, used in marine applications (on vessels) are the same as house/home appliances, except they are equipped with special safety devices required by marine codes.
