I lost the name of the product; can u help...? It was a drywall spackle product that came in a dispenser that looked just like a deoderant speed stick. It was called Fix-a-hole or something like that. Want to get one. Thanks.

Is there a reason you don't want to use the traditionally packaged spackling?

If you can remember where you bought it previously, employees there are likely to know. Sounds to me like it would be more difficult to use than traditionally packaged spackling.

Thanks for replying. I just like the convenience of it. Like deoderant, it's used the same, no mixing , etc. It's just very handy for little stuff.

Look into Dap DryDex. It goes on purple and when it is dry it is white. That way you can tell when it is dry and not sand too soon. I use this alot on small repairs and nail holes and to smooth scratches. It doesn't shrink too much either.

Can't remember the name of the stuff I've been using, but it's similar - goes on pink, dries kind of off white. Helps make it easy to figure out when it's ok to sand. The best part is it dries to about the same color as the walls in my office, so it's not a big deal if I don't prime and paint for a while.

Very convenient and small enough for a toolbox for small stuff. Under $10.
