I have a Maytag Gemini the bottom oven will light and heat up, the 4 burners on the range work also.
The top oven does not heat up.
When it is called to heat up the screen shows preheating, the oven does not heat up - nothing happens, it just stays in the pre-heat mode with no heating going on.
I reset the computer to factory settings, unplugged it, took the back covers off to check for loose connections and found nothing.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hello Ggorsch and Welcome to the Do It Yourself Web Site and the Gas Appliances topic.
Most likely and common cause is a defective Hot Surface Igniter. (HSI) May not be glowing or not glowing hot enough to allow the gas control valve to open and let gas flow through to the burner. Replace that HSI.
Or, if you would like to, remove the broiler or lower ovens HSI install it in the upper oven. Then test the upper oven. Oven should work, if the lower oven/broiler did. If that is the case, buy a new HSI and install it into the lower oven/broiler.

Cautionary Reminder Note: Before attempting any repairs, be sure to unplug the appliance from the wall receptacle power source first. Test for leaks on all connections using leak detection soap.
Retail parts dealers and appliances parts stores can also help determine what the possible problem may be based upon that specific brand and model. Bring the make, model and serial numbers. Dealers and appliances parts stores are listed in the phone book.
