My mother had her concrete steps clad in brick pavers a couple years ago and the ones that overhang the steps have come loose. i imagine it is due to a poor adhesive and the fact that they were cantilevered by about 3/4" and over time the wear was too much. Is there an adhesive or cement mortar that would hold up to such condition? Or am I better off cutting each brick so that there is no overhang?
