We just had our 1500 sq. ft. garage ceiling drywalled, and the installers didn't stagger the drywall at the butt seams. My husband thought it should have been staggered. Does anyone know if it will cause any problems later down the road, or is just as strong? Drywall was 5/8" and glued and screwed. Thanks

No problems beyond cosmetic.

Yeah, just a bear to make the seams disappear. It would have been easier with staggers.

Your question was 'strength.' This is a non issue. Sounds more like cosmetic. If properly taped and mudded, then it's also a non issue as indicated.
