My Sea Doo has had some problems the past year. I replaced the rectifier and that seemed to do the trick. The last time I took it out last year it was running fine except I forgot to put the drain plug in and the hull filled up about 1/4 of the way before I realized what an idiot I was. I ran the water out and put the plug in. The engine died about 5 min. later and wouldn't start back. I worked on it through the winter and got it running hooked up to a hose in the yard. The engine runs strong. I took it out for a test run a few weeks ago and the engine is still strong but it will not go over 15mph at full throtle.
The impeller is clean, and I rebuilt the carborators. I was wandering weather I could have shorted out something with the water, and if so what? Also is there anything else that it could be? Thanks.
