Lighting, Light Fixtures, Ceiling and Exhaust Fans - loose ceiling fan light fixture

I Had A Loose Center Pull Chain Four Light Fixture On My Ceiling Fan, When I Try To Tighten It The Neck Of The Pull Chain Broke Off. So Like A Good Husband I Used An Old One From A Burnt Out Fan That My Wife Would Not Let Me Throw Away. Naturally It Did Not Work, So I Purchase A New One And Now My Fingers Are Not Small Enought To Rewire The System So I Can Get It Back Together Again. This Is My Second Week And I Am In Despret Need Of Help!!!!! Please Anyone Out There.
