Currently we have a concrete walkway with 9 slabs. They are lower than the perpendicular sidewalk that the city maintains and we would like to raise them up to the same level. Would it make sense to level them with sand and lay stones over them, making them look nicer than concrete, and levelling it off at the same time? I would welcome ideas...
