Hi,

I bought this beautiful mirror from GoodWill and I took the frame off to paint it white and who ever had the mirror before me stained the frame green and did a nasty job and got stain all over the mirror. Is there an easy way to remove the stain? Will paint stripper work?

Thanks!

If it's only around the edge where the frame was, you can use a single edge razor blade to remove the stain. If it's all over the mirror, paint remover will work but be careful to to let it get onto the back of the mirror

Many types of household chemicals will damage the mirror coating so be very careful where you use anything like stripper and even later on when cleaning the mirror. It is likely that whatever paint or stain is on the glass will scrape off.Natural based strippers like the newer citrus types might be less risky.
