I am adding a couple of large statues to my garden. They each way about 2200 lbs with a base of 55" long by 22" wide. What size of footer/base do I need and what type of concrete should I use? I assume I need a vapor barrier underneath the footers. I live in a high clay area and I would prefer to keep these statues as low to the ground as possible. Thanks.

I assume you will have a contractor to set the statues? If so, they will determine what is needed. If you plan on doing it yourself, you will require the services of a soils testing company and a structural engineer to draw up specifications.
