Roofing, Gutters and Waterproofing - where to buy roll roofing

I am about to re roof over my dining room. Currently there is rolled asphalt roofing. I want to go with that again because of the cost factor right now. I was about to buy rolled roofing at lowes by owens but realized it was single rolled roofing for pitches at least 2 in 12. I have a little bit over 1.5 in 12. In doing research I found that I have to go with 19 inch selvage edge roll roofing for double roofing. Does anyone know where I can get this and the cost factor? I checked lowes and they only have what I said and Home depot only sell torch down roofing. The single roll was 20 bucks a roll covering 100 square feet. I have a total of 300 square feet. Any feedback is appreciated.

well you can get it at a roofing supply company but most of the time they only sell to contractors. thats how we stay in work

Well to get by . You could use the 90lb roll and lap it 1/2 way over the first . Use the cold mop stuff to put it down with. ;)

The cold stuff you talk about, is that the Henry mop down stuff that you use to bind the double together. I guess it is the same concept accept the 90 will be completely asphalt

Ok this is what I plan on doing if I can't get the double rolled roofing. I am gonna put down weather watch weatherproof underlayment (since it is only 300 square feet). Then I will get the 90 lb. I figure since it is 3 feet wide I will over lap 1/2 of it. I will do the same concept as the double layer rolled roofing and use the spread cement with a brush for each overlap. Any advise is appreciated.
