Hi. About 3 years ago I hired a crew to cement our crawlspace floor. It was pumped in over the existing gravel floor. It is a very big improvement which gives us a lot of nice dry storage space. After adding plenty of lighting it really is a very useful area. I know (or so I've heard) that sooner or later all concrete will crack. Seems in this case it is sooner. I realize that having no steel mesh or reinforcements in the floor prior to pouring that it couldn't possibly be as solid as say sidewalk or driveway cement. I don't have a problem with that since it really isn't load bearing at all. But is there something I can or should do to address these long thin cracks that are appearing? I've seen coatings put on industrial floors that look like epoxy or something and was wondering if I should use some kind of finish coat in this area. The cracks aren't really hurting anything. Just annoying. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you put anything rigid such as a cement based overlay over a crack, the crack will transfer up into the coating as well. This will usually happen within days. You might try a flexible caulk, but it will probably look like crap. You're better off just living with the cracks if they're not affecting anything.

I kinda thought that would probably happen. Oh well. Thanks for the response anyway.
