Hello everyone,
I have recently removed a room that was added on to my house directly over the patio. This room made the backyard very small and was not built very well. What we thought to be sheetrock that was attached to the original stucco exterior turned out to be plaster. We would like to go back to the stucco exterior but are unsure of how to achieve this. Would a pressure washer remove the plaster or is there a chemical solution to the issue? If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You.

I assume that the plaster is interior plaster, meaning it is gypsum based. If so, soak it with a sprinkler for a day or two, then a pressure washer should blow it right off the wall. To test it, apply water and see if it turns to mush.
