I "attempted" to build a small brick retaining wall around some plants in the yard. I tried to wash the excess mortar off the bricks before it dried, however, there still seems to be a film over the bricks, and specks of actual mortar in other areas. Will this eventually fade, or is there something I can use to remove it from the bricks? It doesn't look bad, just not what I was going for. Thanks in advance.
