Hi, I'm looking for an economic machine to shoot plaster/mortar to ceilings of my father's newly constructed house. The machine could be operated using an air compressor, and shouldn't be very heavy. Any ideas or suggestions on how I can obtain or build one? Pls e-mail me as soon as possible to xxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxx.xxx. Thx.

What kind of material are you wanting to spray? Texture only? Then a hopper gun is as economical as yu can get especially if you already have an adequate compressor. Pressure is not an issue but the volume of air delivered is important. You need about 6 CFM to run a hopper gun at 25 PSI or less.
If it is heavier material a plaster finish pump is probabaly adequate.
