Hi Folks,
New here and I hope to get some ideas. We have 8 sling chairs that are all still in good shape but getting tired. I know I can replace the mesh but I have been toying with the idea of painting the whole chair. My idea is to paint the chair a solid white (mesh included) than either hand paint or stenciling Hawaiian motif on the mesh material. I see no problem painting the chair frame but not sure how to do the material. Any help is appreciated...thanks, Jeff

Hi Jeff,
If the mesh is nylon or polyester it won't take stain or dye. That has to be added when it's manufactured. If it's cotton you could use a fabric paint.
