We have a Fleck 5600 metered valve and once in a while it makes noises very similar to a bug zapper.. Other than these noises it's working perfectly.

Is this a relatively easy DIY fix? Is a service manual available online?

Thanks for the info. Would replacing the motor likely fix the strange bug zapper noises? I removed the housing's back cover and it sounds like they're coming either from inside the motor or behind it.
