I am looking at an 00 with 92,000 on it and 01 with 95,000 on it. They are both 4.0's. These vehicles are being sold by a reputable mechanic who is into selling Jeeps on the side.
He wants $7,000 for the 00 and $8,000.
Any one have any thoughts/experiences with these vehicles?

I've got a 97 cherokee sport with 230k on the clock and it still runs strong. As long as it looks well maintained, I wouldn't worry about the mileage.

I have a 90 cherokee 4.0 that has 172k, runs good but not the best vehicle I've ever owned but definetely the best 4x4!!! The majority of mechanical problems have been with the various sensors that control the idle/fuel flow. 4.0 are also bad for leaking rear main seal.
