I have a whilpool dryer and I need to swap some parts and I have a kenmore that was made about the same time. I was wondering if whilpool made kenmore? If they did then the parts should fit I hope.

Yes, Whirlpool made most Kenmore laundry appliances. One sure way to tell on dryers is by the lint filter. Whirlpool-made dryers have the lint filter on the top, and you pull it up and out to clean it. If your Kenmore has the same type of lint filter as your Whirlpool, then yes, its made by Whirlpool.
