Hi There,
Our 90 series Kenmore washer (Model 110.26902691) wouldn't spin. When we start it fills with water and cycle seems to be running fine but when we notice inside the center pole is not spinning anymore(Earlier we used to see it spin). It also goes thru rinse and spin cycle but i doubt if it was doing anything. After complete of the cycle i see bottom cloths are soaked in water though top layer cloths are thru the spin. We also noticed that fabric softner we put on top of center pole is not draining at all. Same solution is still there after my 3 trail runs.

What should i do? Appreciate any help for me to diagnose and fix the problem.

You have the exact same Washer I just got done fixing. Send an email to Jim Balcum @ balcum@charterinternet.com describing in detail your problem. Give Jim your phone number too...he may call you....he called me!!!

Jim runs Balcum Appliance....found his store on EBay. He specializes in appliance parts, and is VERY willing to help you diagnose your problem. My problem was a bad transmission, and with Jim's help and a $50 (shipped) rebuilt tranny, the Washer works like new again.

I would recommend to anybody that reads this to contact Jim with any appliance problem you may have!

Every once in a while you run into some truly helpful people that take pride in their occupations, over and above the almighty dollar. Last year I contacted, through 3 other parties first, a guy across state who knew all about an outdated (took over by another foreign country mfg.) over the range microwave. We theorized the problem together,... he sent me the part by mail (only about $6 total), and I put it in and fixed it!

BTW; I then sent the guy $10 token of appreciation a few days later.

And I'm writing down that Jim Balcum Appliance in my notebook.
