Pull the plug out slightly and check voltage there on 2 outside terminals should have 220-240 volts,, if not reset breaker and check again... if there.. unplug and pull unit out and lay on its front... remove back panel and on the blower housing is a 2 inch wire thermal fuse... check it for continuity.. in none replace it ...

bambiblaster that was it. great job.. thanks for the help... one question for the sense of learning does that thermal fuse sense heat for the timer?

That fuse checks air temp that flows out of dryer... if gets too hot there is a possibility that the vent is no venting properly... check venting from back to outside
