Just went outside to change loads of clothes & my washer was turned off & still completely full of water. Nothing works on it now; so I'm not sure if it's a drain issue or some electrical issue. It's a Whirlpool top-loading washer, probably about 4 years old. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

You probably didn't say your post exactly right. If the machine were turned off during some function, it would stop, as is. Did you mean that the machine just shut off even though the timer said it still should be working? And if you try to advance it in any setting you get no function at all? It will not agitate, or drain, or spin, no matter what setting you have it on? Do you hear any hum? Have you checked to make sure your circuit breaker isn't tripped. Do yo have a voltmeter or test light to see if the washer outlet has juice?
