Kenmore electric range model 665.950002102 bake (lower oven heat element) stays on. Does not respond to oven off/cancel command nor any other hit and miss effort on control panel. No message on control panel readout appears, only time is displayed. Turning off circuit breaker allows element to go off, but when switch circuit breaker back to on, the element immediately starts reheating. The read out lights up full display, then reads "PF" and time, and then pushing off/cancel the response is a single beep and "PF" disappears and only time remains. Element stays consistently on as long as Circuit Breaker is on.
Well done chicken gives off smoke and pushing off button does not interrupt element, no warning, no failsafe, no shut off or shut down works other than flipping the circuit breaker.
Kind of funny but kind of dangerous.
Sears says: Sears does not make anything. Sears cannot provide repair manual.
Stove is smooth surface, self-cleaning oven, about 5 years old.
Thanks for help regarding how to repair.
