Which is best for dehumidifying an unoccupied, 14 X 60 trailer during the summer months, a dehumidifier or an air conditioner?

You have someone check on the home every now and then to make sure everythign is OK? How is the water going to get emptied from the tank?

Dehumidifer will make the home warmer sinceit puts off heat.. So you could set the A/C at a higher temp say 80 to 85.

Jay - I figured on using a dehumidifier with a drain to the sink and also someone will be checking on it periodically but are you saying I would need both the air conditioner and dehumidifier? I'm located about 5 miles from the ocean.
