Searched the threads and didn't see anything about these. Have anyone used it and/or have an opinion on it versus a furnance mounted humidifier?

Never heard or seen such unit.. with this type of unit, it will only do the room that it's in.. and if you have forced air system the air may work it's way to other area of the home.

You just have to keep filling the unit with water on a daily basic.

You will be way better off . To put a good humidifier on the furnace duct work.
