No.
Wire from humidifer to A50... from A50 over to humidistat.. from humidstat back to the humidifer.
What's your furance brand/model? You may not need the A50

I was unable to get any info on your furnace.. Look on the back side of the blower door and see if you have EAC or HUM set up on the board. And see if you have 24 volts or 120v on the EAC and HUM.
The Aprilaire humidistat are best to put on the return ductwork.

yes, you can use R and C if your furnace's transfromer is able to handle the load.
You can buy a new honeywell humidistat from Home Depot that can mount on the wall or return ductwork.

You will have to look on it to see what the AMP rating is on it.. Most newer furnace is able to do it where the old ones's didn't...

One more question I have it all hooked up and its working great however when the furnace kicks down to blow heat out of ducks the unit shuts down until it calls for heat again when it is calling for heat it clicks on and also when the fan is on it works to I have the unit hooked up to the r and c on the furnace and the a50 relay on the common wire of the blower.

Ok, that is very odd.... It should stay running when the blower itself is running.
So you are coming off of R going down to the A50, then up to the humidistat, then to the humidifer and back?
Also, when you said "When the furnace kicks down to blow heat out of duct the unit shuts down."
You are saying your blower slows down when the t-stat is not calling for heat to cool off the heat exchanger, then shuts down?

My bad. I was gong as if you were going to wire it to other humidistat.... not Aprilaire.
R to R
C to C
H to a50 then up to humidifer the back to H.
This furnace a standard blower or variable speed "DC" motor?
