I hope this is in the right section. I have a table that has tile on it now and I want to remove the old tile and replace it with something new. Any tips on the best way to do this? TIA

Welcome to the diy forums!

Are you wanting to replace the tile with different tile? If so it would be better to post in the tile section of the forums.

Are you wanting to go back to wood? If so you may need to laminate over whatever is underneath the tile although it might be possible to finish the underlying wood - iffy at best, garunteed to be a lot of work.

I just want to replace it...it was a toss up for me on where to post. Thanks for your help...

edit: can you please move this thread to the tile section

What is the current substrate for the tile, plywood, cement board, something else?
