I found a beautiful brushed nickel faucet that I would like in black... they do not offer and the black faucets they have available is not what I want. Is it possible to spray paint a faucet with exterior metal spray paint? I have seen the commercials where they paint metal chairs for outside and they look great (of course on tv :) Is it possible to do this with a faucet? Please advise if anyone knows. Thanks...

I know of no paint or coating, nor have I heard of any process that lasts any length of time for fixtures like this short of re-plating
Usually not worth the expense unless the fixtures are antique or in some other way valuable (financially or personally)

Sorry for not clarifying... it was the krylon for metals. They did not advertise covering fixtures, I was wondering would it work? Thanks...

Short of paying a local metal fabricator to powder coat your metal, I don't think there is anything low cost solutions.

Check around and call some fabricators to see what their piecemeal price is.

Good Luck
