WOw, Im stuck here. My single lever faucet, new with the house about 5-6 yrs ago, is the kind that pulls out as a hose also. well, the hose sprung a leak. no problem, go to HD. i cant seem to find a hose that will connect to the faucet itself under the sink. i believe its what they call a "quick connect" where it really doesnt screw in. is there a way to modify the faucet connection from a quick connect to a simpler screw on type--- w/out buying a whole new fixture? or a better place to search for a hose with a QC fitting than home depot?

Answers in order.
NO.
Yes, a plumbing supply house. Not a big box store.
Good luck with your project.

If I read your post correctly, the pull out sprayer spout on your Delta leaks and because Home Depot does not carry parts to repair or replace it you are under the impression it is not available and are seeking a different way to repair the faucet?
As stated in the other post,Home Depot should not be the source either for your plumbing parts needs or viewed as the best place or only source for parts nor should the fact that they don't carry a part be viewed as whether that part is available or not.
Delta is very very good about providing replacement parts for it's products. This part is undoubtedly one that IS available. You should use the actual replacement part and not "rig" some other hose up.
Go to a plumbing supply that sells to the public or a REAL hardware store for your parts needs as they will have a much more complete selection and knowledgeable help to assist you.
A secondary option are online plumbing parts retailers however you will need to research the proper part by model number of your faucet.
