Hello,
I have a Bosch SMU 2042 that is about 10 years old. It used to belch steam when the door was opened at the end but now it is not heating the water properly in the wash cycle or heating the air in the dry cycle. I checked the heating element in the dry cycle and it is getting warm, but just to the point where I can still touch it. I imagine the heating element either works or not but I am not sure. In the wiring diagram there is a thermostat (161F) plus a couple of devices labeled High Limit ( I5 and f6 if I am reading the fuzzy copy correctly)
Any suggestions?
