I have a Kenmore washer,about ten years old that will not spin. It starts to spin and goes about two rotations before it appears that some kind of braking mechanism kicks in and stops it. If I turn the drum by hand after one rotation of the drum it stops turning. It looks like it involves a solenoid operated brake but I am unable to see how it operates. Any help would be much appreciated.
