With respect to the shelving brackets I bought at Lowes that were malformed:

This problem was verified by Lowes and thanks to their conscientious and timely follow-up by Lowes, Lowes shipped me replacement brackets at no cost.

Customer Service at Lowes has never disappointed me, nor has their selection of hardware, materials, and appliances.

Good service for you, but they continue to sell the brackets that are not formed properly. I purchased some yesterday. Today I went to HD and purchased the closetmaid brackets that work perfectly.

That is how big box stores keep prices so low, they buy everything from the manufacturer, regardless of quality. They buy stuff without any quality inspections. That is also why they take things back without question. If you keep it and it is not right, they are ahead. Besides, they just put the returned merchandise back on the shelf.

Sometimes (at work, it usually gets replaced).

Sometimes the grease is rather thin.

Sorry to hear the crap is still on the shelves. Last time I checked my Lowes store, the brackets were okay. I'm afraid to check again.

Heck, I'm afraid to check the replacements that were shipped to me!!!
