When I nail or staple the prefinished 3/4" wood strips, are there any extra precautions to follow that are in addition to normal procedures of laying unfinished wood?
For example, do I add a layer of tape on the flat bottom part of the stapler gun to prohibit scratches? Or is that not necessary...?
