this is a ceiling mount furnace not shure of the model similar to a house furnace.the darn thing won't shut off it just keeps getting hotter....
I replaced the t-stat and wire and it fine for a day or two now its doing the same thing.with the two tstat wires removed it still runs fan/burner it will turn off the burner if i pull 1 or the 2 wires off the valve but as it should the fan stays running. I removed the 1 xformer wire (secondary side)and it shuts off. now Im lost Help!!
thanx Rob

Run new tstat wire to the tstat . You have to have a short
Now on the fan Lot of unit heaters have just a Klixon fan control on them. Not the best in the world. That should be 110V find it and get a new one

Then you have a short in the box there. you said that if the wires are off the valve it stops.

Well I agree that there is a short in the box but it is not a wire it must be a sensor it seems to have 2 sensors mounted to the back of the box. I think one is a over temp and the other is a timer for the fan? if the fan timer is faulty could it hold the burner and fan on?
At what point are the fan and the burner valve connected to each other? What is tstat controling? It must be a relay of a sort or is it all one series circut?
Thanx Rob
