Hi,

I'm planning on replacing my flooring with new pine flooring. I was wondering if it's possible to use the nails in the tongue and grooves to fix them down, or would the wood split? Can they only be used on hardwood flooring?

thanks,
J

That is how all wood flooring is put down, by blind nailing. Unless they want the face nailed look, or it is around the perimeter where the angle and the wall won't let you blind nail.
