I recently purchased a home that has beautiful kitchen cabinets and flooring. However, the previous owner did not replace the current countertop. I want to replace the countertops and tile the wall behind the counters. I have learned to tile and tackled a few other jobs throught the house with the tiling, and I am anxious to jump into the kitchen. However, should I wait until the countertops are installed before I tile the walls behind the counters?

Thanks for the input.

Yes. Normally counter top goes in 1st then tile the wall from the counter top up. Thats the way Ive seen it done.
