Does anyone know how or where I connect the manual override resister to my control unit. I have the outside temperature sensor attached and because it is so cold out, my house is very dry. It's set a 7 and my inside humidity is around 25% which from what I read is the correct setting. I want to override it because my wood floors are splitting. I have the plastic resister with the two wires coming out the bottom but I do not remember where to connect then to the control unit.

Remove the outdoor temp sensor from the humidistat, it should be connected the the terminals labeled "ODT" or something like and put the resistor in its place.
