I need help. Last week we bought Lock N' Seal by Uniboard at Sam's Club. We let it sit for a week in the room where it is to be installed. We took off the plastic around the boxes and let it sit. Saturday, I tired to install it and I just can't get the pieces to lock together. The ends go together just fine but it won't go together length wise.
I live in Phoenix, Arizona. At the beginning of the week it was kind of cold (60's). Later in the week it was in the 80's. I did have my windows open. It also rained this weekend with humidity. Can the weather do this to the boards?
I got so frustrated with this that we returned all 15 boxes to the store. Should I try another brand, wait until the weather evens out, or try vinyl tiles?

I'm not sure why you couldn't lock them. I used Dupont and they snapped together.
Anoher area that was a disaster for me, the floor needs to be almost perfectly flat otherwise the laminante will not sit flat and will feel spongy. Over time the laminante joint will fail. You can get a 6-8ft piece of PVC and roll around, you souldn't see much of a gap.

There are a couple possibilities. The 20 degree change in temperature was probably not good. You should control the temperature in the house to let the boards acclimate. You should read the instructions and see what temperature they recommend. Too much humidity will make the boards expand, making it harder to connect them.
The other possibility is that you were not connecting them properly.
