A week ago there was a small leak from the main pipe down into the conditioner.

I unplugged the conditioner, put in a new hose, but now I get a 'C5' error.

I've had this system 9 years and only had one other simple repair needed.

Now, however, if I don't 'bypass' the softener, it just keeps sending water out of the hose into my drain (like it never gets past a certain stage in the regeneration - even after 4 hours).

Any ideas?

Any one know what the C5 code means and how to fix it?

Right now, no matter what buttons I push, C5 stays.
