I am needing to recoat some hardwood floors, and wonder if someone would be so kind as to advise what brand name of water based polyurethane they have used?

Thank You.

Minwax makes a water-based polyurethane for floors - you can buy it anywhere. I personally dont' think the water based holds up as well as the solvent based but that's just me :)

What do any of you members know about the process called RENEWAL, by VARATHANE?

It is a three step process

1st. step you spread a chemical that ABRADES the existing finish.

2nd step, spread a chemical that CONDITIONS the 1st step for bonding purposes.

3rd step, spread a WAGERBORNE coating which they say is superiorn to conventional clear finishes.

Comments are most welcome.

Thank You,
